USA Songwriting Awards 2008 Finalist

The Critical Massive have clawed their way above tens of thousands of entrants to be nominated as Top 10 Finalists for the world prestigious USA Songwriting Awards in the Electronic category.

This makes the band one of only a handful of Aussies to ever receive this acclode, putting them amongst such celebrated acts as The Waifs.

The selected track is their debut single LAWLESS, which has made huge noise from home to Miami, since their EP launch at the Miami Winter Music Conference in 2008.

The guys look forward to touring off the success of this single later in the year - stay tuned.

Miami Winter Music Conference 2008

THe Critical Massive are fresh back from their trip to Miami, where they were invited to launch their debut EP LAWLESS, at the 2008 Miami Winter Music Conference.

Played to a panel of Music Industry world heavyweights and to an energetic Miami crowd, their EP was received ecstatically for its first international launch, on the eve of the International Dance Music Awards.

The party continued into the warm Miami night as the guys mingled backstage with award winners and industry peers, with such greats as Paul Van Dyk, BT and David Guetta.

Music Oz Awards Finalist

Scoundrel are please to announce that THE CRITICAL MASSIVE were nominated as finalists for the 2007 MUSIC OZ AWARDS in the Electronic category.

Music Oz is the ARIAs of the Australia's independant music scene and this was a great result for the band in their first year of entry.

The boys attended the awards night at the Enmore theatre and then rocked the night away at the Home Nightclub til the early morn with their fellow musos and industry peers.

A fantastic night for all, and a great event for the Australian music scene.
